Job Responsibilities
- • Lead a Channel Bank and legacy telecom retirement initiative at a regulated utility
- • Evaluate legacy TDM-based systems (Channel Bank, POTS, 56K, T1), map service dependencies, and design phased migrations to modern Ethernet, MPLS, fiber, and wireless solutions
- • Perform service inventory and dependency analysis, migration planning, carrier engagement (ordering, provisioning, turn-ups, disconnects), cutover leadership, risk management, and formal decommissioning to realize cost savings
- • Provide deep hands‑on telecom experience in TDM/POTS/T1 retirement, Ethernet/MPLS/fiber migrations, carrier coordination, and change management in utility/regulated environments
- • Work hybrid in NYC (2‑3 days onsite per week) and be local to New York
