Simple Ventures | Toronto, Canada | ONSITE (3-4 days/wk) | Full-time Simple Ventures is a Canadian venture studio that builds new companies from day zero - we source ideas, validate them with real users, build MVPs, and hand off to CEOs to scale the ones we bet on. We're backed by the founders and leaders of Wealthsimple, Shopify, Ada, MindBeacon, and TD. We're hiring for two roles: Founding AI Engineer - the technical backbone of the studio. You'll build internal tooling, prototype MVPs for new ventures, and partner with our portfolio companies on applied AI. New Venture Lead (0→1) - you'll operate like a founder, sourcing venture ideas, running validation loops with real users, killing weak ideas quickly, and writing CEO-ready memos for the ones we decide to invest in.
