Machine Learning (ML) Engineer

Beatdapp | Machine Learning (ML) Engineer | Vancouver, Canada | ONSITE (Hybrid) | Full-time Beatdapp is a ~50-person startup delivering audio and streaming integrity technology to media platforms. We process data at TB/PB scale to protect the royalty ecosystem, generate authentic recommendations, and detect AI-generated content. We are looking for an experienced ML engineer (+3 years) to work on our inference systems and data platform. In this role, you will be executing ML engineering, cloud platform/infrastructure design, and building ML model inference systems. You'll be a good fit if you have deep experience across different data stores, distributed systems, caching, and data transfer protocols. Our team manages and maintains integrated software systems, including inference containers, data processing pipelines, and feature stores/generation platforms. Stack: Multi-cloud (AWS, GCP), Docker, Airflow, Python, MLflow, BigQuery, SQL, S3, GCS, GitHub Actions, Terraform. The team is collaborative, and low-ego - we're looking for talented engineers who are comfortable working on projects that move at the pace of weeks rather than months and who love learning. Nice-to-haves include experience with audio/media systems, signal processing/spectograms, speech detection systems, computer vision, GPU hardware development, and event streaming systems.
