BREAKFAST Studio | Senior Technical Program Manager | Brooklyn, NYC (ONSITE) | Full-time | $180k–$210k base + bonus | theartistbreakfast.com We're BREAKFAST Studio, a kinetic-art studio at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. We build one-of-a-kind electro-mechanical sculptures, pieces with thousands of individually controlled moving parts, for museums, exhibitions, and collectors. We built The Pearl, the largest computer controlled kinetic sculpture on the planet (https://theartistbreakfast.com/works/the-pearl). Every piece is a custom machine: custom PCBs, stepper motion-control, molded parts, firmware, software, overseas manufacturing, all converging into something that has to run flawlessly for a decade. We're hiring a Senior TPM to own delivery across all of it: fluent enough in mechanical, electrical, firmware, and industrial design to hold your own with every engineer, and good enough to keep a complex build from slipping between disciplines. You'll own each piece from prototype through tooling, production, test, and install — including deciding what "properly tested" means for a machine no one has built before. You: 8–12 yrs shipping complex hardware (motors, electronics, firmware, overseas manufacturing), real factory/vendor experience, calm under install deadlines, and an eye for aesthetics — the tech serves the art.
