An agent in the field needs data that is verifiable, auditable, concurrent, collaborative, and permissioned. No single system gives you all five. SQLite gives you local storage and nothing else. Every other database assumes the cloud is there to provide the rest. We're building the data layer agents actually run on: local-first, syncs peer to peer, every write verifiable, every read auditable, no cloud required.
