Their hardware team in NYC is growing, and each of these roles owns a subsystem end to end on physical robots. Mechanical Engineer ($230K-$260K): mechanical design of robotic arms and manipulators: joints, actuators, transmissions, end effectors. You optimize for torque density, backdrivability and stiffness, prototype with additive and precision machining, and take assemblies to production.
